About the event

Our Adventure Savvy clinic is approximately 1hr in length, covers everything from making a plan, tides/weather/sunset times, understanding hiking pace and terrain variables, to footwear, first aid kits, water filtration and everything in between.

It’s suitable for seasoned hikers and those just starting out - highlighting the unique challenges encountered when hiking along our beautiful Bay of Fundy coast and forests.

Our clinic moves along at a quick pace and consists of PowerPoint slides highlighting key points and topics in the background while we show/tell and engage our guests in participation.

Time for shopping and Q&A afterward.

In Step Adventures acknowledges that we carry out our work, play and creation stewardship on the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’kmaq and Peskotomuhkati peoples. This territory was covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” and signed by these first nations in 1726. The Treaties recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.

Therefore, we pay respect to the elders, past and present, and descendants of this land, honouring their knowledge and endeavouring to learn from their wisdom regarding its ongoing stewardship and protection for future generations.
