Once you have booked your adventure with us, a deposit of 50% is required to confirm your booking via e-transfer to hello@InStepAdvenutres.ca, and the remaining sum will be due 48 hours before your adventure date, also via e-transfer.
Provincial taxes are extra.
International guests who don't have e-transfer with their respective banks can pay via PayPal.
An additional 5% is added to the over all fee to cover PayPal charges.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Guests must cancel 48hrs or more prior to the date and time of the booked tour, in order to receive 75% of the total fee refunded. If cancelled less than 48hrs prior to the date and time of the booked tour, only 50% of total fee will be refunded.
In Step Adventures will offer alternate options within 48hrs notice if the weather/winds make the original plan unsafe. If the guests choose to still cancel and not pick another option, 75% of total fee will be refunded.
For local guests, a mutually decided upon rain date will be offered!
For out of province guests and international guests, we go out of our way to provide alternatives that will be in line with your interests! We know that you are only in this area for a short time, and want your travel journal to say "WE DID...!" not "We were supposed to but..."! If your holiday in this area is extended, we will also try to offer a rain date within your holiday time frame. Holidays are precious so we will help you to make the most of yours - rain or shine!

We don’t share your contact information and do our part to protect its security! However, no online activity or transaction is 100% secure, so we ask that you agree to not hold us responsible for any third party interception of your data while you are using our site.
Our preferred payment method is e-transfer. We do not have credit card payment available for your protection, and for ours!
At IN STEP ADVENTURES, we take your safety very seriously. We go to great lengths to manage the hazards inherent in In Step Adventures Activities, but these risks cannot be completely eliminated. We expect our guests to follow their guides’ directions at all times, wear a life jacket while in a kayak and when directed by the guide.
Guests will be required to sign our liability release form before participating in any In Step Adventures Activity and a briefing at the start of each of our adventures lays out the safety expectations.
Please take time to read the Release of Liability Form carefully, sign it, and be sure to bring it with you.
As of May 2022 Proof of vaccination will not be required from participants at time of booking
Maximum number of participants per activity is limited, and bookings are for family and friend groups given the custom nature of each booking.
Vehicles and equipment are cleaned and sanitized before and after each use.
If you are feeling uncomfortable at any time, feel free to wear a mask and communicate to your guides who will be glad to accomodate.
